Sony this time is back with its new flagship smartphone Xperia XZ Premium. Although the smartphone was released in MWC 2017 (Mobile World Congress) but it is launched on 12th June 2017 with the price tag of Rs. 61,990. Performance and Memory
The new Xperia XZ Premium is embedded with the Qualcomm 835 Snapdragon processor and runs on Android 7.1 Nougat operating system. With such an advanced processing you can surf the internet and play High-end games easily. No matter how much data you have, memory is also not at all an issue here, as the Xperia XZ Premium comes with an inbuilt 64 GB memory along with 4 GB RAM. So performing a long time-consuming activity and playing games is not a problem at all. You can also expand the memory up to 256GB by using an external MicroSD card.
Camera Quality
Featuring the 19 MP rear camera with Motion Eye, Triple image sensing technology, Predictive Hybrid Autofocus, Predictive Capture, Anti-distortion shutter, HDR Photo, BIONZ (for the mobile image-processing engine), SteadyShot Intelligent Active Mode and the front 13 MP camera with SteadyShot with Intelligent Active Mode. It is said that the camera quality of XZ Premium is far better than the other Sony Mobiles, including the Sony XA Ultra, Sony Xperia Z3, Sony Xperia X, etc.
Battery Backup
It has a 3230mAh battery along with Smart Stamina, Battery Care (that provides longer battery life), Qnovo Adaptive Charging, STAMINA Mode and Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 features. It provides a great battery life and can be charged quickly within a minute by plugging in. This feature was missing in the old Sony Xperia models.
Looks and Design
The look and design of Xperia XZ Premium are very attractive, slim and sleek, with dimensions 156 mm x 77 mm x 7.9 mm (H*W*D), harnessed by 5.5” HDR 4K Display with features like TRILUMINOS, Dynamic Contrast Enhancer and X-Reality. With a screen resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and sleek design, the display and the back panel are protected by Corning's curved Gorilla Glass 5 on either side of the phone.
Great Sound Quality and Connectivity
The Xperia XZ Premium is also enabled with the S-Force Front Surround sound and High-Resolution Audio (FLAC, LPCM, DSD, ALAC) providing high-quality audio with the digital noise cancelling and Clear Audio+ feature. The Xperia XZ Premium provides Wi-Fi Miracast, Google Cast, NFC, USB 3.1 (USB Type-C) with Bluetooth v5.0.The new Xperia XZ Premium also feature IP68 rating, providing water and dust resistance.
