iMac, MacBook Updated With Faster Intel KabyLake Processors

At Apple WWDC 2017 even which concluded on 9th of June Apple made some of the biggest announcements, One of the major announcements was Apple updating its iMac, MacBook and New MacBook Pro lineup of PCs with Intel latest Kaby Lake Processors. Also announced iMac Price, MacBook Price, MacBook Pro Price and MacBook Air Price and Availability in US, India and other regions.

iMAC Major Updates:

The updated iMac features faster Kaby Lake processors up to 4.2 GHz with Turbo Boost up to 4.5 GHz and supports up to twice the memory as the previous generation, comes with Thunderbolt 3, up to three times more powerful graphics, faster storage options and brighter 4K Retina displays.
Graphics on iMac are much more powerful across the line with the new Radeon Pro 500-series graphics with up to 8GB of vRAM. The 21.5-inch model delivers up to three times faster performance and the 27-inch model is up to 50 percent faster as reported by company press release note. Fusion Drive is now standard on all 27-inch configurations and the top-end 21.5-inch iMac. SSD storage options are now up to 50 percent faster the most powerful and versatile port ever,” said John Ternus, Apple’s vice president of Hardware Engineering.

MacBook and MacBook Pro Updates:

The updated MacBook features faster Kaby Lake processors up to 1.4 GHz Core i7 with Turbo Boost up to 3.6 GHz and up to 50 percent faster SSD, and supports up to twice the memory. Weighing just two pounds and measuring 13.1mm thin, MacBook is Apple thinnest and lightest notebook for all-day, on-the-go computing.
Apple has also introduced a new $1,299 (US) 13-inch MacBook Pro. The updated 13-inch MacBook Pro features Kaby Lake processors up to 3.5 GHz Core i7 with Turbo Boost up to 4.0 GHz, as compared to the 15-inch MacBook Pro which goes up to 3.1 GHz Core i7 with Turbo Boost up to 4.1 GHz. The 15-inch MacBook Pro now comes standard with more powerful discrete graphics with more video memory, as reported by company press release note.
Apple also updated the 13-inch MacBook Air with a 1.8 GHz processor.

iMac Price, MacBook Price, MacBook Pro Price and MacBook Air Price and Availability:

  • The updated iMac, MacBook, MacBook Pro and MacBook Air are available to order online, and available to buy in Apple Stores starting on Wednesday, June 7 in US.

Apple iMac price in India:

The Apple iMac range now starts at Rs. 90,900 for the 21.5-inch non-Retina model and Rs. 1,07,900 with newer Retina Display.  The new entry-level Retina iMac comes with 1TB of 5400rpm hard disk, You can also buy higher version of iMac at Rs. 1,24,900 which will come with a 1TB Fusion Drive – Apple’s flash storage + HDD hybrid, a faster processor, as well as a better graphics card. The 27.5-inch Retina iMac starting price is Rs. 1,48,900, will come with newer display, better processors, Fusion Drive, and new graphics cards as well.

Apple MacBook price in India:

The 12” Apple MacBook Price– is now priced at Rs. 1,09,900 for the 256GB SSD variant and Rs. 1,34,900 for the 512GB SSD model. The MacBook too has received Kaby Lake processors, 50 percent faster SSDs.

Apple MacBook Pro price in India:

The 13-inch Apple MacBook Pro without TouchBar will starts at Rs. 1,09,900, with only 128GB SSD storage. The 256GB variant will comes at Rs. 1,26,900. The 13-inch MacBook Pro TouchBar models are cheaper at Rs. 1,54,900 and Rs. 1,71,900 respectively for the 256GB and 512GB SSD storage variants. The 15-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar still starts at Rs. 2,05,900, while the top-end model is now at Rs. 2,39,900.

Apple MacBook Air price in India:

Price for the Apple MacBook Air – remains unchanged at Rs. 80,900 and Rs. 96,900 for the 128GB and 256GB SSD storage variants respectively. MacBook Air processor will get upgrade to 1.8GHz Core i5 Broadwell chip (Turbo Boost up to 2.9GHz).
